Rare Antique Victorian Platinum 18K Gold Sapphire Rose Diamond Wedding Ring French c.1840 Engagement

A Stunning and Rare Antique Victorian Sapphire and Rose Cut Diamond Wedding Ring, European French c.1840, 18K Gold and Platinum. This incredibly beautiful antique ring holds three vibrant blue sapphires at center, the largest measuring about 3.5mm in diameter. The sapphires are joined by ten (10) sparkling antique rose cut diamonds. The setting is composed of platinum topped 18K gold with a hint of a rose hue, which predates the use of white gold. The ring is estimated to date circa 1840's and has a series of Hallmarks on the outside of the shank. One of the markings is an eagles head, the French mark for 18K gold. Overall the ring measures about 3/4 inch long by about 11/16 inch wide from side to side. Ring Size: about 7 (could be resized by your jeweler or ask me about using mine before shipping). This ring was acquired through a wonderful estate collection and is in lovely vintage condition. A rare and gorgeous antique find.
