A Wonderful Antique Star Sapphire Ring, Vintage Art Deco circa 1930's in Ornate Silver Filigree Setting, a Wonderful Wedding Ring Idea. This gorgeous original Art Deco Era piece holds a natural star sapphire gemstone at its center measuring about 7.2 x 11mm oval. The stone is estimated at about 4.25CT in gem weight (+/-).
The star sapphire has beautiful coloration and a luminous "glow" in the light with star-like striations seen when you move the stone through the light. It has a beautiful silvery gray blue color. The setting is elegant Art Deco Era and is made of sterling silver with filigree detailing. Overall the ring measures about just under 1/2 inch long by about 7/8 inch wide from side to side. Ring Size: about 8 3/4 (could be resized by your jeweler or ask me about using mine before shipping). This was acquired through an estate collection and is in lovely vintage condition.
