A Wonderful Pair of Antique Victorian Earrings, Etruscan Revival 14K Yellow Gold Dangle Style, Vintage circa 1820. These antique earrings have the most exquisite workmanship with hand applied Etruscan Granulation, all completely in tact (so often you will see a granule or two missing due to the fact that they were hand applied (not cast), however they have all remained in this example). The Victorians were charmed with antiquity and often pulled techniques from ancient times, such as Etruscan gold work, and incorporated it in their own designs. The earrings are composed of antique 14K yellow gold as tested. They each measure approximately 1 inch in length by about ½ inch wide and are in beautiful vintage condition with a few indents etc to be expected for rare pieces of this age. Circa 1820 to 1860's.
