This all silk scarf is a Marja Kurki design. It is wide diagonal stripes of vivid jewel colors: emerald, ruby, amethyst and sapphire. Some of the stripes are made of bands of pinstripes. Others are solid. They surround a diamond shaped center. The scarf is 30 by 32 inches and has nice hand rolled hem. It is signed and has a fabric content tag attached. The tag says dry clean only but the Marja Kurki website says they can be hand washed with care, no machine drying however.. The scarf is in perfect unused condition. Not sure of its age but it is not in the current MK offerings

Marja Kurki is a Finnish designer active for about 40 years in Helsinki. Although she designs a range of fashion items for men and women she is best known for her silk scarves. They are all without exception bold in design and color many featuring stylized themes from nature.
