A Gorgeous Antique Emerald Paste Rose Cut Brooch Edwardian Art Deco Pin c.1920. This beautiful antique piece holds a stunning array of sparking rose cut marcasites and the center holds a saturated emerald paste stone measuring about 9 x 12mm. The setting is composed of sterling silver and is designed with beautiful classic early 20th Century details. The pin closes securely with an early safety clasp. Overall the piece measures about 3 inches long by about 1/2 inch wide. This piece dates to the Edwardian to Art Deco period circa 1920 and is in lovely vintage condition.
