This happy little duckling makes you smile when you see him! He is one of a group...an owl, a horse, and a cat are his friends...shown in Brown's "Signed Beauties of Costume Jewelry". I found a vintage Trifari ad for a later group called "Pets" which are more whimsical (the cat and horse actually belong to this group); we can assume the duck and the owl have their own family.
He measures 2" x 1" and is done in goldtoned metal with a white enamel finish and green enameled eyes. His feathers are "suggested" by oval openwork which gives him his great personality. He is in superb condition for his age.
This little guy is one to cherish...with a smile like this, he's bound to brighten any day for you!
