Vintage MacPherson bridle leather headstall ready for your silver conchos!5/8" wide, doubled and stitched, made in the USA of the very finest domestic bridle leather. Leather is clean, sound, no cracking. Some wrinkling typical of doubled and stitched bridle leather. Has been over oiled and while I have been wiping it down now and then for several months, is still somewhat greasy to the touch.The throatlatch is a vintage replacement of equal high quality in excellent and clean condition but NOT oily. Give the cheeks and brow a warm, arid climate and the excess oil will work itself out in no time. These old MacPhersons are getting tough to find!Slight twist in the cheeks will straighten out with a bit hung off it.Marked MacPherson, Los Angeles Cal and with the #37.
