We are asked all the time for workshop manuals by vintage Airstream trailer owners. Fact is that the first Factory Service Manual that Airstream produced was for the 1972 model year. Before that there were smaller owners manuals from 1964 that continued on into the mid 80's. Owners manuals are fine for trailering basics, setup and appliances but are lacking when it comes to a major repair.
1969 was a year of major changes to the Airstream line. From that model year until about 1973 the models, lengths, layouts and specifics had only a few changes ( not counting custom models that Airstream always did). Therefore the 1972 service manual will satisfy the needs of most owners from 1969 to 1971. Having the owners manual for your year will fill in any specifics on appliances, heaters, etc.
So beginning with 1971 we are offering as a test the 1972 service manual (252 pages) bound in with the 1971 Owners manual.

Covers all major systems with detailed diagrams and explanations of function and repair. Systems covered are gas, electric, water and sewage, brakes, cabinets, shell and frame plus much more.

This manual is not photocopied. Like all the other manuals we supply it has been painstakingly scanned page by page, touched up and enhanced in Photoshop and then laser printed. It is printed on quality 20 lb stock with Cerlox binding as was the original. Covers we have purposely printed on grey stock with some changes to the cover art in order that they are distinguishable from an original. Inside we try to make them as close as possible to the original manual.
