Text clean and unmarked, binding tight, some slight tanning of pages due to age and paper used, start of small crack front title page. Cloth cover shows little signs of wear, owners name and stamp inside cover dated 1919This is a collection of detective short stories. Things unheard of in the day such as forensic labs, a soul detector ( psych profile), truth teller (lie detector) etc. This was written in the period when a lot of spying was going on prior to US entering WWI. Reeves detective Craig Kennedy was the most popular detective in that time period. Reeves also wrote some Sci Fir. 12 short stories, 334 pages, several pages of ads for other titles.
