A Boldog Ember by Zsigmond, Moricz Szepirodalmi Konyvkiado, 1958, lst Hardback in good condition, with fair dust jacket Text is clean and unmarked, binding tight, some tanning of pages due to age. Dust jacket has tears, chips, dings and nicks. There is some Hungarian writing on inside page dated 1970.x. 13 perhaps Oct. 13, 1970. Since I can't read Hungarian I can't be sure what it says, one line does appear to be a name. Other wise book is clean Zsigmond is cherished by Hungarian literary historians of Marxist sympathies for his social realism. His intimate knowledge and meticulous description of the life of the Hungarian peasantry and for his ruthless exposition of the empty and wasteful life of the Hungarian gentry. From the narrow and somewhat shallow confines of social existence, Zsigmond paints compelling pictures of stifling boredom and crude sensuality. This book is in Hungarian. Also as a bonus you will received a copy of Seabed Vagy (Free) in poor condition, with taped binding and heavily browned pages, pen dated 1945 Brand, Germany. Powered by eCRATER .
