A Wonderful Antique Victorian Locket Pendant, circa 1880s Etruscan Gold Design with Shell Motif. The locket is composed of antique yellow gold filled and is styled in the Etruscan Revival style decoration. This is a style that was inspired by the archaeological discoveries of the ancient Roman jewels. Overall the locket measures about 1 1/2 inches long by about 15/16 inch wide from side to side. The locket is in lovely vintage condition overall for a piece of this age with some wear as to be expected. This style of early antique locket is getting quite difficult to find.
