The history of the appearance of the national harmonica is always associated with Tula. Back in the XIX century, the first masters appeared, who created their own creations or copied foreign novelties in exactly the same way. In 1870 the Tula enthusiast NI Beloborodov invented a completely new variety of harmony - chromatic. The novelty was made by his order by the talented master L. Chulkov, a representative of the famous Chulkov dynasty, who were famous for their great achievements in the field of construction of reed instruments. The new accordion received a surprising sound and was exquisitely decorated. Spectrum of 12 sounds combined with the finish of cypress wood and ivory made the accordion a work of art. Subsequently, the instrument was further improved, and turned into a three-row chromatic harmonic, which now has the name of a button accordion. In the almost two-hundred-year history of the development of musical instruments, the Tula accordion has come a long way in a short time: from a toy that was capable of producing only a couple of chords to a professional musical instrument that has received worldwide recognition. The Tula harmonica preserved the best traditions and customs of the unique and unique folk craft. The history of harmonious production, which began at the beginning of the 19th century with the home of the Shkunaev brothers, gained a new lease in the 1970s, when the Melodiya Production Association started producing more than 110,000 bayans per year. In 2000 the factory was bought by OST WEST CORPORATION. The new enterprise is now known all over the world as LLC "Tula Harmon". A competent strategy of the new management and serious material investments allowed the company to significantly expand its production volumes. The Tula enterprise mastered the development and production of accordions, bayans, accordions with a new technical characteristic - a ready-selective left keyboard, which makes it possible to significantly expand the repertoire of the musician, including works written for violin, organ, piano. LLC "Tula harmonica" produces high-quality musical instruments, the uniqueness of which in preserving the traditions of manual production of products, as a result of which each accordion has an individual character.
