Rare Antique Bird Diamond Necklace Vintage 19th Century Victorian Edwardian Gold Pendant

A Wonderful and Rare Antique Bird and Old Euro Cut Diamond Necklace Vintage 19th Century Victorian Gold Pendant. This lovely antique pendant holds an antique Euro cut diamond at its center drop measuring about 3 x 3.5mm. The diamond is nice and clean and white and has a lot of sparkle and life. The bird is so beautifully details like a miniature sculpture. The bird is crafted of 14K yellow gold with silver accent in the center and head. Silver was used before white gold was used in the 1920's. The bail was replaced at some time over the 100 plus years that this piece has been in existence and is nice and sturdy. The chain is included as shown and is about 16 inches composed of gunmental with silver clasp, ready to wear or for gift giving. Overall the pendant measures about 1 1/4 inches long with bail by about 1/2 inch wide from side to side. It was acquired through a wonderful estate collection and is in lovely vintage condition.
