Some foaming in the bubbler tank is a natural occurrence in supplemental hydrogen generator systems. But when too much foam occurs this can cause major problems if the electrolyte bubbles enter the HHO output hose to the engine's intake. Be aware this is usually caused by too much electrolyte mix ratio to water in the bubbler tank. Always check amp draw and use the proper electrolyte mix ratio according to electrolyte instructions.
• Look at this device as an added insurance against over use of electrolyte mix causing foaming
• A vapor trap helps keeps electrolyte from entering the engine's intake manifold which can trigger the check engine light and/or cause engine damage due to cylinder washout or valve sticking
• In drive-by wire engine applications, engine's that do not employ an accelerator cable to move the throttle throat flap, are most affected by HHO electrolyte contamination that can damage the costly throttle body assembly
• That being said, it’s a good idea to employ a Moisture trap coupled with our HHO Foam B Gone
• The device measures approximately 9 1/2 inches tall, made of 1 1/2 inch PVC pipe with 3/8 elbow fittings top and bottom
• It can be tie strapped the side of the bubbler tank or to most any accessible area away from high heat like exhaust manifolds
• The Moisture trap goes between the hydrogen generator HHO output hose as illustrated
• It’s recommended that the bottom fitting not be glued but hand tightened to accommodate removal if the Moisture trap needs to be drained
