Once upon a time in the late 1960s there was a fashion trend called maxi-coats; coats that came down to your ankles worn over micro-mini skirts and knee high boots. Scarves like this one were worn with the long coats. They came down almost to one's knees. The proportions were great.
This scarf is 72 inches long and 8 wide. It is made of doubled acetate printed with an orange, blue, black and white flower power mod print on pale tan. The medium blue is actually quite a bit darker than it shows. The ends are very dark navy rayon crepe. The scarf is in perfect condition. It has probably never been worn.
Wear this with a coat or wrap around your waist like an obi sash. Or use this as a table runner for a retro apartment or party.
