Antique Garnet Pin Vintage Georgian Victorian Bar 1800s

A Wonderful Antique Garnet Pin, Vintage Georgian Victorian in Bar Form, circa early 1800s. This beautiful antique garnet pin was made during the first half of the 19th Century during the late Georgian to early Victorian Period. The antique garnets are faceted in early rose cuts which were popular during this early period. The setting appears to be gold gilt on silver commonly used in these European garnet pieces. The pin measures about 2 inches wide by about 9/16 inch long and closes with the original clasp. The piece is in lovely vintage condition with no missing stones.
