Antique Victorian Hard Stone Cameo Multicolored Gold Necklace Vintage c.1850

A Wonderful Antique Victorian Hard Stone Cameo and Rose Green and Yellow Gold Book Chain Necklace, Vintage c.1850. This beautiful antique necklace is composed of antique gold filled with applied gold details in rose and green gold and dates to the mid 19th century. The centerpiece holds a hand carved hard stone cameo. Overall the necklace is about 19 7/8 inches in length. The centerpiece is about 1 3/8 inches long by about 1 1/2 inches wide. The piece clasps on one side of the centerpiece so it is easy to put on and take off. This piece was acquired through an estate collection and is in lovely vintage condition. These examples are becoming quite scarce.
