Chen style taiji double sword is one kind of dual weapons in Chen style Taiji apparatus, on the basis of the original double sword routine, combining the body works of Taiji boxing and the usage of Taiji sword, created by the famous boxing master Chen Zhaopi during his boxing teaching time from 1930 to 1938 in Nanjing city. The routine has 39 postures in total. The layout of the routine is reasonal, the structure is tightly knited, the sword works are clear, the use is lifelike. when practing, the movements are smooth, generous to unfold and incessant; two swords are natural and smooth, like a smart dragon out of the sea. when walking, it is like butterfly fluttering; while squating down, it has the majestic of a fierce tiger; Turning around to split, is like a boa turning around, and a black bear turning its back, of the prodigious strength; Demonstrates the styles of softness and power, loose and the flexible of Taiji boxing.
