It is said that Buddhist Arhat Boxing was passed down by a Lama from Tibet to a dignitary with Nanlin Temple in Guangzhou. Afterwards, it was accepted by Southern WuLin (Wushu circle) and became part of Southern Boxing (Nan Quan).
