Here is a fine and rare concert from the Wayne Shorter Quintet back in the 80's....a post Weather Report performance that sounds like late Weather Report !!!...plus brilliant soloing, great songs, interesting chords wonderful movement, genius melodic ideas.
Having just ended Weather Report, Wayne hadn't escaped the melodic or rhythmic ideas of his former mates. This is genius playing and brilliant jazz.
