And like their cousin, they are also drought tolerant and tough as nails. Plains Coreopsis grow 3'-4' tall and fall over under their own weight. The dwarf version does not do this.They stand upright about 12"-16" tall and bloom mid-summer until first frost. If a few flowers are left alone to live out there life-cycle they will reseed readily. Coreopsis wildflowers are very easy to grow from seeds. They will tolerate some shade but need at least 5-6 hrs of direct sun, and light water.There not picky about soil, a crack in the sidewalk will do!
