Antique Bohemian Garnet Brooch Bar Pin Vintage Georgian Victorian 1800s

A Wonderful Antique Bohemian Garnet Brooch Pin, Vintage Georgian Victorian, circa 1800-early 1900s. This beautiful antique garnet pin was made during the 19th Century mid Victorian Period to early 1900's Edwardian Era. The antique garnets are faceted in early rose cuts, which were popular during this period. The setting is gold tone and does not test as solid carat gold or silver and many of these early garnet pieces were set in a mixture of low carat gold and other alloys. The pin measures about 2 7/8 inches wide by about 11/16 inch long and closes with the a "C" clasp. The piece is in lovely vintage condition with no missing stones.
