Modified Emerald Cut
This a gem I can stare into and always find something different about it. It's not like the gem itself is changing, but that there is so much within it that even something as small as a change in lighting lets me see new depths. It's a gentle gem, with colour gradually changing from orange in one corner to light yellow/peach at the other. If held up to the light, it shows marvelous translucency, giving it yet more depth. As with the vast majority of the gems I make, this one is a cut I modified to suit my temperamental faceting machine and the temperamental gem rough I was working with. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
