Antique Victorian Edwardian Onyx Seed Pearl Necklace c.1900 Art Deco

A Superb Antique Victorian Edwardian Onyx Seed Pearl Necklace, c.1900 Art Deco in Sterling Silver. This fantastic original antique piece dates somewhere from the late Victorian Era to the early part of the Art Deco Era. It is composed of polished and bezel cut black onyx set with floral centers adorned with seed pearls. The links between the onyx stations have antique details and the chain has some onyx beads and is antique silver. Each onyx piece is set with silver settings behind. Each onyx station measures about 1 inch wide by about 3/4 inch long. Overall the necklace is about 18 inches long and closes with a spring ring silver clasp. Pieces like this do not surface often enough and this is a perfectly classic piece. A rare find and a beautiful heirloom suited for any occasion. Estimated to date circa 1900 and in lovely vintage condition.
