Jean Shinoda Bolen, M.D. (1936-) is a psychiatrist, Jungian analyst, clinical professor, speaker and author of 13 books. Along with her husband James, Bolen co-founded Psychic magazine (later renamed New Realities) in 1969, which covered parapsychology (ESP, telepathy, precognition, clairvoyance, et al.) and mind-body-spiritual topics.
