Vintage early 1960s Bull Shoals, Arkansas, Caverns and Mountain Village 1890 An Authentically Restored Ozark Town travel brochure and map.
Brochure measures 4 x 8 1/2 inches. Great color photos inside with testimonials from Chester Lauck, "Lum," of Lum & Abner radio show team and country music/folk singer Jimmy Driftwood. Both men attended Mountain Village's opening on May 27, 1960. Features a huge map of Bull Shoals on reverse side. Caverns are billed as "Nature's Atomic Shelter": Note the Approved Civil Defense symbol on back of brochure.
