WILD BLUE / ROCKY MOUNTAIN IRIS aka Blue Flag, Water Flag, Flag Lilly. The wild blue iris flower is a stunning plant that displays unique flowers atop grass like foliage. Usually grown from bulbs, this variety can easily be grown from seed. The flowers are violet/blue with yellow and white streaks and will grow to 24" tall when flowering. The plant will die off during a harsh winter and will come back the next spring. Wild Iris has a long life span of 7 yrs plus and can be divided at year 3 and beyond. Wild Blue Iris will spread through a extensive root system and also from dropped seed. The blooms will appear in spring/early summer. 60+ Quality seeds per order.
