Frontier Gentleman began with these words: " Herewith, an Englishmans account of the old west. He was a reporter for The London Times, he writes his colorful and unusual accounts. But as a man with a gun, he lives and becomes a part of the wild years in the new frontier. Starring John Dehner this is the story of J.B. Kendall, Frontier Gentleman. This is a great but short lived series with only 41 episodes. This stands as the only serious rival to Gunsmoke in the radio Hall of Fame
Fort Laramie is another one of the less heard of series that was great listening. Ft. Laramie was a story about Capt. Lee Quence, Captain of Cavalry in the wild frontier. It was created by Norman MacDonnell of Gunsmoke fame. Raymond Burr was the star on the show . They made 41 episodes of this great western. I think you will like listening to it.
THERE ARE 84 SHOWS ON 1 CD AND THEY ARE IN MP3 FORMAT. THEY WILL PLAY ON ANY COMPUTER AND SOME CD PLAYERS THAT ARE MARKED PLAYS MP3s.
