Antique Garnet Ring Georgian Victorian 18K Rose Gold Wedding - Georgian Etruscan

A Gorgeous Antique Garnet Ring Georgian to Victorian Period 18K Rose Gold Setting, 19th Century. This wonderful antique ring holds a garnet faceted cut stone at center. The setting is exquisite with hand applied Etruscan Revival detailing done in antique Victorian rose gold (please note, Victorian rose gold is not as pink as 1940's rose gold or modern day rose gold). The ring reflects Etruscan Revival style, which was a popular movement where designers were inspired by the elegant simplicity of ancient Roman jewels. The garnet measures about 6.5 x 9mm. The ring dates to the Victorian Period and could even date as far back to the late Georgian period with this styling. Overall the ring measures about 5/16 inch long by about 3/4 inch wide from side to side. Ring Size: about 7 1/2 (could be resized by your jeweler or ask me about using mine before shipping). This ring is in lovely vintage condition with some wear to the garnet gemstone as to be expected of an original piece of this age. A rare find.
