This pattern is called "The White Barn" by Frederick Childe Hassam in 1882. This pattern is designed from an old master's vintage painting and adapted into counted cross stitch. This painting is interesting as the barn is white, but Hassam gave it a golden glow to reflect the warmth of the summer sun on the barn. A lovely pattern to stitch for yourself or as a gift for someone else. Great for a family room, kitchen or sun room in your home.
