This book is ex-library with usual markings, fep removed, light wear to book corners, small section of dj spine cut to reveal library call letters, & dj front flap clipped and inserted in fep. This is a lighthearted story about a family in the late 19th century Idaho. When pa learned that he can sell his pigs for twice as much in a faraway city, he and the whole Lacey family closed up their house and started out. This story is about their "pig drive" and the adventures they had (including an Indian attack) along the way taking their pigs to market.
