Seeds of this very unusual velvety almost black perennial with bright yellow centers is a viola called tricolor Sawyers Black. This 6-8" plant will blossom all summer if blossoms are kept picked often. Zones 5-8. Mainly used as a ground cover under deciduous trees as it does not like full sun. This is a perfect plant for cottage paths and will reseed lightly for more plants next summer.
