Clunky ceramic bead necklace on leather cord hand knotted excellent vintage ll2447

This necklace has the look of an artisan piece but I do not know its origins. It is made of rust and rootbeer highly glazed ceramic beads strung on a double strand of raw leather. Each bead is separated by hand knotting. The leather ends in a shepherd's hook that grabs a leather loop on the other end. The necklace is 19 inches but count on only about 16.5 actual inches of length. The beads are over an inch in diameter and absorb some of the length. Excellent as new condition.
