Vintage Chanel Boutique Pink Suit 2 pc Dress & Jacket Women's EU Sz 42 US 8 10
Welcome! PLEASE NOTE: This outfit is offered AS-IS, with the following issues:
1) It needs a cleaning, as it has scattered tiny to small spots or marks at the exterior, most of which are a sort of gray pencil point color, with several small pale rusty looking spots.
2) The linings are mostly clean and intact, except for the underarms of the jacket, which show some slightly darker wear and separation to the stitching at the corners where the sleeve linings attach to the body lining.
3) There is a gray smudge at the underside of the jacket that folds left to right under the outer part, and a 1" vertical pale rusty mark near the edge on the same side.
4) There are tiny to small scattered pulls here and there, nothing major.
5) Some buttons may need tightened. Due to the restrictions on the number of photos I can post, I have not been able to show these issues in detail. If you look at the close-up of the lapel with the buttons below it, you can get an idea. There are also fold marks or wrinkles.
Having said that, this is a previously owned vintage Chanel Boutique two piece outfit, a matching pink wool with pink silk lining sleeveless dress with jacket, with a detailed label that indicates it was made in France, Collection # 24, Style/Model #28702. The weave of the wool, as best as I can describe it, is a sort of light to medium non-contrast tweed. The dress is a very basic, slim, slightly tailored sleeveless design that zips up the back. In contrast to the dress, the long sleeved jacket has a fuller double breasted design that is cut longer in the back than the front. It has rounded lapels, four gold metal logo buttons below the lapels and two silk lined slouchy bias pockets that each have a logo button. This outfit, while it could be worn in winter, has a very narrow seasonal range of wear, from late winter through early to mid spring.
I am not generally a marketer of couture clothing and there is no return if it doesn't fit, so please take a moment to read the measurements. These measurements are taken lying flat, and I've deducted an inch from the measurements through the body to allow for proper fit, as follows:
