Art Deco Black Alligator Purse Vintage Bag Gold Tone Metal Frame 10.5 x 9.5"
Welcome! Presenting a vintage Art Deco style genuine black alligator bag or purse with a gold tone metal frame, top closure and four little metal "feet" on the bottom. It measures 10 1/2 inches long at the bottom, 9 inches high to the top of the body of the purse, 9 1/2 inches high to the top of the decorative top closure, and the depth from front to back at the bottom is 3 inches. When fully open, the widest part of the envelope at the sides is 6 1/2 inches. It has four little gold tone metal "feet" at the bottom. The interior features a black leatherette lining with an attached coin purse, an open compartment with gold piping on one side and a zipper compartment with another open compartment with gold piping on the other side.
PLEASE NOTE: This purse is in overall good condition with the following issues: It is missing the handle or strap, but there are two fixtures at either end of the top closure for a replacement. The top closure clasp is very tight, but in working condition. It closes easily but it requires a little bit of force to open it. The interior has a light, powdery scent and has some dust and some scattered surface wear to the lining, but is intact. There is a 1/2" light specky white streak on one bottom edge at the exterior and there is a 1/2" by 1" piece of skin that is lifting away at the upper edge at the bottom end of the envelope of the purse. It is not noticeable. The elastic cord of the attached coin purse is stretched. Minor wear at bottom side edges.
