Vintage Cross Stitch Sampler Today is the First Day of the Rest of Your Life
Welcome! Presenting a vintage cross stitch embroidery on linen sampler featuring the saying or motto "Today is the First Day of the Rest of Your Life", surrounded by a colorful floral wreath featuring roses and daisies and other flowers. It is framed under glass in a narrow gilt wood bamboo design frame measuring 14 inches wide by 17 inches long. It has a charming vintage style.
PLEASE NOTE: This cross stitch has not been unframed, so I am not able to verify the condition of the fabric underneath the framing. On the visible image under the glass, there are some loose threads at the upper left corner and a 1" darker streak in the linen fabric. On the lower right, a couple of small spots. On the back, some loose threads sticking out around the edges and some toning to the backing board. Overall good intact condition.
