WMF Zinn Miniature Pewter Plate Rembrandt The Man with the Golden Helmet
Welcome! Presenting a vintage miniature pewter plate marked on the back "WMF Zinn Ges Gesch", the German tableware manufacturer founded in 1853. This little plate measures 4 3/8 inches in diameter and features a relief image of an old man dressed like a knight or warrior with helmet. Below the image it says "Rembrandt 1606-1669 Mann Mit Goldhelm". The image is taken from a painting attributed to Rembrandt, "The Man with the Golden Helmet". There are a couple of little spots of raised pewter at the upper rim on the back. Otherwise, good to very good condition with no dents or damage.
