Impressionist Landscape Oil Painting Summer Meadow Split Rail Fence Signed Kepp
Welcome! Presenting a vintage American impressionist oil on canvas board landscape painting featuring a meadow in summertime, with field flowers in the foreground, a split rail fence at the mid ground and foliage in the background against a sky that seems to be working up to a summer storm. The painting is so well done that you can almost smell the lushness of the grass and foliage and feel the stillness of the air ahead of the storm. It is signed on the lower right "Kepp". I am not sure of the artist, but the signature appears to be similar to that of Carol Kepp, Florida Impressionist artist. The painting itself measures 11 inches wide by 14 inches long and is unframed.
PLEASE NOTE: This painting is offered unframed, AS-IS. There's a couple of little dark marks that look like ink on the upper right, and the back of the board has a couple of areas of deteriorated paper and a dark splotch at the bottom right. The board is very slightly bowed on the vertical. Otherwise, good intact condition, no losses that I can detect.
