Embossed Brass Picture Photo Frame Vintage Miniature
Welcome! Presenting a unique vintage miniature embossed flexible sheet brass picture, photo or keepsake frame with a pressboard backing that has a ring for hanging on a vertical surface. It measures about 5 3/4 inches wide and about 4 3/4 inches long. The image or keepsake space is about 4 3/4 inches wide by 3 3/4 inches long. I've taken some photos to show the unusual fabrication of this frame. The image or keepsake would be inserted between the frame and four thin flat brass sections, and the backing is held in place by molding the flexible brass edges over the edges of the backing. There is a thin sheet of plastic or celluloid that would go over the image or keepsake.
PLEASE NOTE: The thin plastic or celluloid sheet that goes over the image or keepsake is yellowed and there is scattered tarnish to the brass. There is some roughness to the finish of the press board backing, especially an area on the lower left.
