Soldering flux ZIL-2 30 ml REXANT is designed to remove oxides from the surface for soldering, improve the spreading of liquid solder when brazing copper and its alloys. It was mainly used for soldering brass radiators of ZIL cars.
In modern conditions, it is used in various fields, including in the installation and repair of air conditioning systems. ZIL-2 flux belongs to the active category.
For soldering, solders of the tin-lead group, zinc, cadmium, bismuth are applicable.
The temperature of the effective activity of the flux is in the range of 150 ... 300 ℃. After soldering, it is washed off with water or a brush moistened with alcohol.
