Description

Salvia blue flower spikes are abundant for weeks on bushy 90cm plants. Grey-green foliage. These bushy, base-branching annuals are fast growing, flowering in less than four months from seed. Over a very long floriferous period, they produce numerous, upright, long-lasting spikes of flowers until the first frosts arrive. Great both for borders and containers and brilliant for cutting. Your bees will love you for them as well. Light aids germination. Start indoors in warm location (do not cover seed) 4–6 weeks before last frost, keep fairly dry for best foliage color, and transplant outdoors after danger of frost. Especially attractive to pollinators.
