Ceylon Black Tea Op. Ceylon retains a very good reputation as a producer of the best quality teas. Due to the tropical climate, the harvest is year-round with two quality seasonal harvests. This black tea is grown at altitudes up to 2300 m above sea level on steep mountain slopes. Ceylon is planted mainly with the Assamese variant of the tea tree, its hybrids and clones. The leaves are brown to brownish-black, well wrapped, characteristically wired. They give off a dense, spicy or woody scent. They provide a smooth brown-orange infusion of heavy bitter taste, with a rich aroma of noble woody plants, sometimes with honey or floral accents.

Preparation:

Put 2g of dry herb into 0,2l cup of boiling water. Let stand for 3-4 minutes. Drink maximal 3 cups per day.
