Vintage Mid Century Modernist Necklace Choker Black Onyx Pendant Mexican 1960s Signed Luciano

A Fantastic Vintage Modernist Necklace Choker Pendant by Luciano of Mexico, Mexican 1960s-70's. This fabulous Mid Century Modernism piece is composed of an aged copper/brass metal composition with wonderful hand workmanship. Every piece is hand fashioned and hand soldered. The choker has a wonderful organic quality and handmade beauty in all of its intentional imperfections. The choker has bend points all around the round form of the choker which forms the round shape that fits around the necklace. The curves that follow all around the choker are all individually soldered in place and highlighted with black in between. They offer the design of the piece so much movement and life. There is a large black onyx pendant that dangles from the choker. The center pendant part measures about 3 inches long by about 1 1/8 inches wide. The opening in the necklace measures about 4 7/8 inches wide by about 4 1/2 in the other direction. This necklace will fit a variety of necks. A wonderful example of Mid Century design in original handmade condition with aged patina. Signed by the artist, Luciano on the reverse side. A one of a kind original vintage statement piece.
