Antique Pearl Link Necklace Gold Japanese Akoya c.1930 Art Deco

A Wonderful Antique Pearl Link Necklace in Gold Filled, Japanese Akoya Ocean Pearl, c.1930. This antique necklace holds 4 genuine Japanese akoya pearls, each about 6mm in diameter. The akoya method was invented by Mikimoto in the early 1900's. The pearls in the bracelet have a beautiful luster and set in antique gold filled. The setting is a wonderful example of Retro Art Deco design and is estimated to date circa 1930's. Overall the necklace is about 15 inches long by about 5/8 inch wide at the widest part of the flower links. This piece is estimated to date to the Art Deco era and is in lovely vintage condition with some age to the finish as expected for an authentic antique piece. A wonderful antique find.
