Description

Moss will have some brown pieces mixed in with the green, it is normal. Moss is originally grown out of the water on a mat and therefore doesn't receive light on the bottom so there will be some brown on the bottom in with the green moss. Wrap the moss around whatever you would like to attach it to and then use thread to wrap around the object its on to lock the moss down so it doesn’t come off and float all over the tank. Give it time to grow in. Remember, moss is stringy at first almost like confetti, so it must be attached to something otherwise it will go everywhere in the tank and get likely get sucked into the filter, it needs a chance to grow and attach to the surface you attach it to in addition to adjusting to the new under water environment.
