Vintage Garnet Earrings Victorian Georgian Style Long Drops

A Gorgeous Pair of Vintage Faceted Garnet Earrings, Victorian - Georgian Style, Renaissance - Archaeological Revival. These gorgeous earrings hold genuine faceted garnet gemstones at the center with deep rich red coloration. Each stone measures about 5.5 x 7mm oval. The settings are composed of sterling silver and have beautiful detailing and a deep rich dark patina. The styling of the setting is reminiscent of the jewelry found in ancient Roman excavations. This style was popular in Renaissance, Georgian, and Victorian Eras, during which there were archaeological explorations. Each earring measures about 1 7/8 inch long with wire tops by about 5/8 inch wide. These earrings were acquired through an estate collection and are in lovely vintage condition.
