This auction is for one (1) Blueberry - 'Summer Sunset' - Vaccinium (Rabbiteye) live plant.'Summer Sunset' is a complex blueberry hybrid, that is mostly rabbiteye. This remarkable cultivar produces attractive flowers and an abundance of multi-colored berries. As the ripening process occurs 'Summer Sunset' puts on a color show of yellows, oranges, pinks, reds, and dark purples. The blueberries are ready when they reach a dark, almost black color. 'Summer Sunset' has gorgeous non-glaucous foliage, that shines.

Cultivation

Plant in full sun and well draining soil. Needs regular water weekly, more often in extreme heat. Heat and humidity tolerant. Early blooms may require protection from frost. Medium growth rate with upright habit to 3-4'. Soil Acidity 4.5 and below. Low chill hours, 3-400, Zones 7-10.
