14k Gold French Classical Cherub with Pink Topaz Earrings

When we came across this little fellow in Paris last May, we immediately knew we had to have him for the Gates of Paris collection. Few pieces evoke the classical ethos more than this statuesque piece. This chubby cherub was original carved in wax in 1868. The face is realistic and the body detailing is superb! Likewise, the carving of the scroll legs is super crisp. Our cherubs hold in their hands a fine pink topaz gemstone. We hand-cast them in solid 14k gold with the latest matte satin finish. Each cherub dangles a colorful faceted pink topaz briolette. All 14k gold wire. Earrings measure 1 ¾ inches tall. This is an heirloom piece you will cherish forever!
