This iconic and mystic Unicorn brooch with it’s irridescent abalone (paua) shell captures the beautify and elegance of this wonderful beast. Made out of emerald green paua (abalone) shell with super silver rhodium plating with a safety catch pin on the back.
In European literature and art, the unicorn has for the last thousand years or so been depicted as a white horse like animal with a long straight horn with spiraling grooves, cloven hooves. Mythological lore described it as a woodland creature, a symbol of purity and grace.
