Grow cassia in well-drained soil that isn't prone to standing water. Cassia tolerates and grows well in most moderate-quality garden soil. Space plants 3 to 4 feet apart from each other and other nearby plants. Cassia also grows well in large pots filled with standard potting soil.
They take as long as they take. They root faster in the spring, because the sap is rising, so to speak, and they are in growing mode. Late summer/early fall cuttings can take a long time to root.
After you have scarified the seeds in preparation for cassia tree propagation, soak them in cold water for 24 hours. Plant each seed in its own gallon (3.8 L) pot with drainage holes on the bottom. Fill the pots with lightweight, sterile medium. Sow the seeds 1 inch (2.5 cm.)
Desert Cassia (Senna polyphylla): A small variety that doesn't exceed 10 feet on a good day. But don't let its small size put you off, this compact tree blooms twice a year in the fall and spring.. . . . .364011233761!]0000000000000009783314145741!]
